1: Agra Fort
AGRA FORT
Agra Fort is the former imperial residence of the Mughals & also a UNESCO World Heritage site, located in Rakabganj, about 2.5 km northwest of the Taj Mahal. Agra Fort was originally a brick fort known as Badalgarh, held by Raja Badal Singh.
 
2: Tomb Of Itmad-ud-daulah
TOMB OF ITMAD-UD-DAULAH
Mirza Ghiyas-ud-din or Ghiyas Beg (later known as Itimad-ud-Daulah) has a special place in the chronicles of both history & as well as architecture. The tomb is a Mughal mausoleum also popularly known as the Jewel Box or Baby Taj as it looks like a smaller version of the Taj Mahal & was built between 1622 to 1628.
 
3: Mehtab Bagh
MEHTAB BAGH
The Garden complex, situated on the opposite bank of the Taj Mahal, is known as Mehtab Bagh, also known as Moonlight Garden, a little-known best viewing spot of the Taj Mahal. The Garden complex is a four-compartment garden design opposite the monument.

NATIONAL CHAMBAL GHARIYAL WILDLIFE SANCTUARY (ADMINISTERED BY 3 STATES U.P, M.P & RAJASTHAN
This sanctuary, located 77 kilometers south of Agra, was created in 1979 to reintroduce the Gavialis gangeticus (Gharial) crocodilian species. The river Chambal supports eight rare turtle species out of the 26 found in the country & is one of the cleanest rivers in the country. The Chambal Safari is to acquaint visitors with a land that has retained its unique landscapes, rugged charm, and rare wildlife. 
 
5: Mussaman Burj (octaginal Tower)
MUSSAMAN BURJ (OCTAGINAL TOWER)
Musamman Burj, also known as the Saman Burj or the Shah-Burj, is an octagonal tower near the Diwan-e-Khas (hall of private audience) in Agra Fort. Mumtaz Mahal was Shah Jahan's beloved queen, and Musamman Burj was her palace. Shah Burj contains elaborate alcoves and delicate meshwork.
 
6: Keethan Lake & Sur Sarovar Bird Sancturay
KEETHAN LAKE & SUR SAROVAR BIRD SANCTURAY
The Scenic Lake is at Mathura Delhi Highway, Near Runakata, Near Walter World-Dolfin, Arsena, about 20 km from Agra, and was declared National Bird Sanctuary on 27 March 1991 by U.P. Forest Department. There are artificially created islands for shelter & breeding grounds for the migratory birds and are home to nearly two dozen migratory and resident birds. The place inspired the famed poet Soordas to compose the Bhakti Kavya, one of the finest devotional poetry ever written. 
 
7: Jama Masjid
JAMA MASJID
The Jama Masjid, also known as the Jami Masjid or Friday Mosque, is located at State Highway 62, Rakabganj, opposite the Agra Fort right in the middle of Fatehpur Sikri, and is a 17th Century mosque & the World Heritage Site of Fatehpur Sikri in India. It was built by Shah Jahan in 1648 & took six years, 5000 workers to complete the mosque.
 
8: Anup Talao (one Of Irts Only Kind Of Water Tank)
ANUP TALAO (ONE OF IRTS ONLY KIND OF WATER TANK)
Anup Talao is a square water tank made of red sandstone & has four bridges that lead over the water to a central platform in the Mahal-i Khass courtyard near the Khwabgah. The water tank was part of a system of tanks & canals used to cool the area around Khwabagh.
 
9: Buland Darwaza
BULAND DARWAZA
Buland Darwaza, or the Gate of Magnificence, was built in 1576 A.D. by Akbar to commemorate his victory over Gujarat or Khandesh in 1573. it is the main entrance to the palace at Fatehpur Sikri, a town 43 km from Agra. The monument is semi-octagonal in design and has pillars and chhatris on its top, stylized fortification, and small steeples.
 
10: Mariam-uz-zamani
MARIAM-UZ-ZAMANI
Mariam-Uz-Zamani is at Mathura Delhi Highway, Near Delhi Highway, Sikandra, Agra. The Tomb of Mariam-uz-Zamani (Jodha), referred to as the Queen Mother of Hindustan, during the reign of the Great Mughal, is the mausoleum of Mariam-uz-Zamani, & was built by emperor Jahangir in memory of his mother.
 
11: Birbal Palace
BIRBAL PALACE
Birbal's house stands near the northwest corner of Jodhbai's palace. The building has horizontal sloping sunshades & brackets which support them. The first floor has beautiful Jharokhas overlooking the court below. Each dome of the upper rooms rests on an octagonal drum & carved with a raised trefoil pattern.
 
12: Ibadat Khana
IBADAT KHANA
Ibadat khana was built by Akbar in 1575 at Fatehpur Sikri as a debating house of religious leaders & philosophers from around this diverse empire & as well as those passing through were invited to Akbar's Thursday evening discussions.
 
13: Naubat Khana
NAUBAT KHANA
The place is situated ahead of the Hathi Pol Gate at Fatehpur Sikri & is also known as Naqqar Khana, meaning a drum house, where musicians used drums to announce the arrival of the Emperor. 
 
14: Pachisi Court
PACHISI COURT
Pachisi court is in the lower story of Musamman Burj at Fatehpur Sikri. Legend claims that Akbar played Pachisi on this human-scaled board with slave girls dressed in different colors as living pawns.
 
15: Tomb Of Salim Chisti
TOMB OF SALIM CHISTI
The Dargah or Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti in Fatehpur Sikri was built by Akbar, in honor of the Sufi Saint Salim Chisti, between 1571 and 1580. The saint was a successor of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, whose mausoleum is in Ajmer, popularly known as Ajmer Sharif. Chishti blessed Akbar, and soon the first of three sons was born to him. The tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti is a white marble structure placed in the middle of a sandstone formation. 
 
16: Panch Mahal
PANCH MAHAL
Panch Mahal, also known as Badgir, meaning wind catcher tower, is a five-story palace of decreasing size arranged asymmetrically upon the ground floor, which contains 84 columns. Panch Mahal is in Fatehpur, about 45  Kilometers from Agra & was commissioned by Sikarwar Rajputs with the Buddhist architectural style.

18: Sikandar Fort
SIKANDAR FORT
The Tomb of Akbar the Great, also known as Sikandar Fort, is a Mughal architecture in Sikandra about 8 km west-northwest from Agra & houses the mortal remains of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Akbar himself planned his tomb and selected a suitable site for it & after his death, Akbar's son Jahangir completed the construction in 1605-1613. The shape of the tomb is pyramidal and consists of five stories. 
 
19: Bageshwarnath Temple
BAGESHWARNATH TEMPLE
The temple is located in Civil Lines, about 2 km from the city center. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and houses 10 Shiv Lings & is of great importance among locals.

JODHA-BAI-KA RAUZA
Jodha Bai Ka Rauza or Jodha Bai Palace is in Fatehpur Sikri, around 12 km from Taj Mahal, Agra. This ‘Rauza’ was built by Akbar for his favorite Rajput Queen Hira Kunwar or ‘Jodha’ as she is now popularly known as the Gujarati and Rajasthani architectural features.

This white marble mausoleum is in Dayalbagh, about 9 km from Agra Cantonment railway Station and houses the tomb of Sri Shiv Dayal Singh Seth, the founder of the Radhasoami Faith.

TAJ MAHAL
Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river in Agra & is among the seven wonders of the world for reasons more than just looking magnificent. It was built in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, to house the tomb of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It took approximately 22 years, 22,000 laborers, and 1,000 elephants & at a cost estimated at the time to be around 32 million rupees at that time, to build what we see today as an epitome of love monument of immeasurable beauty.

Chini Ka Rauza
Chini ka Rauza is a funerary monument in Agra containing the tomb of Allama Afzal Khan Mullah, a scholar & poet who was the Chief of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. The tomb was built facing the city of Mecca & is a landmark of Indo-Persian architecture and is the first building in India to be adorned with glazed tile work.

The Gurudwara is located at Mathura Road & is a historical Sikh pilgrimage place dedicated to the memory of the ninth Guru Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Guru ka Tal was originally a reservoir meant to collect & conserve rainwater in 1970. This shrine attracts a large number of devotees and tourists.

Airport - Air Force Station Agra at VIP Rd, Ajeet Nagar Gate, Kheria Mode, Ajeet Nagar, Idgah Colony, serves the city. Another major airport close to city is Indra Gandhi International Airport, Delhi about 219 kms from Agra.

 

Railway Station -  The main riailway juction that erves the city is Agra Cantt - North Central Railways. Other railway stations in agra are Raja ki Mandi (North Central Railways), Agra Fort (North Central Railways), Agra City (North Central Railways), Idgah (North Central Railways), Yamuna Bridge (North Central Railways).

 

Bus Service - Intra State Bus Service is easily available from the Bus Stand is in Idgah Colony very close to both the Idgah Railway Station as well as the Agra Cantt,Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) operates hi-tech, deluxe, semi-deluxe and ordinary buses from here.
