1: Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area

The Red Rock Canyon in Vegas is perfect for capturing landscapes, hiking, and rock climbing. Managed by the Bureau of Land Management, this verdant area is 15 miles west of Las Vegas. More than two million visitors come to this attraction in Vegas every year. It features a set of large red rock formations, sandstone peaks, and walls that are a sight to behold. The walls are up to 910 meters high, making them a popular hiking and rock climbing destination. There is a visitor center at the beginning of the loop road.

2: Botanical Gardens At Bellagio

Measuring 520 feet in diameter, the High Roller eclipses the London Eye and Singapore Flyer. Facing north and south parallel to Las Vegas Boulevard, the wheel takes 30 minutes to complete one full revolution and features 28 glass-enclosed cabins with broad views of Las Vegas and the Strip. The High Roller can fit up to 40 people in its 28 enclosed and air-conditioned transparent pods.

Situated on the southeast corner of Fremont and Seventh streets, Downtown Container Park spans approximately 19000 sq ft with a mix of 30 shipping containers and 41 multifunctional modular cubes forming its perimeter. Each cube is a steel framed structure that measures 250 sq ft and can easily form a variety of portable configurations. If Downtown Container Park were ever dismantled, the cubes could be used for other things such as a construction office or concession stand and would never wind up in a landfill.

It is a walk-through aquarium having more than 2000 submarine species, including moray eels, stingrays, jellyfish, and sharks. How To Reach

By Air - Las Vegas is served by the McCarran International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the world with high volumes of passenger traffic. The airport is served by multiple airlines which provide service to destinations throughout North America, Europe and Asia.

By Bus - Las Vegas is well connected to other cities in the state of Nevada and also to other states in America, via bus routes. Most Americans make spontaneous weekend trips to Las Vegas. Hence, there are regular buses from most cities. Greyhound buses are the preferred choice as they are comfortable and air conditioned.

By Train - There are actually no direct rail services coming into Las Vegas. Amtrak Thruway Motor coach shuttles passengers between major cities and the nearest Amtrak stations. Amtrak's Southwest Chief operates a daily service from California, Albuquerque and Los Angeles to Kingman in Arizona, located 179 kms south of Las Vegas.

Getting Around - The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada operates around 49 routes within the valley. Taxis are a popular way to get around Las Vegas. Visitors staying in Vegas for two days or longer can rent cars. The Las Vegas Monorail operates along the east side of the Las Vegas Strip but it stops at the back entrance of the hotels and the Convention Centre. Most hotels are close to each other so walking is a great way to travel in Las Vegas.
