HYDERABAD
About Hyderabad

Hyderabad is the capital of southern Indias Telangana state, a center for the technology industry & home to too many upscale restaurants and shops. The Charminar, a 16th-century mosque whose four arches support towering minarets, is an old city landmark near the long-standing Laad Bazaar. The city of smiles, lights, & endearingly called the Pearl City, Hyderabad offers a variety of tourist attractions ranging from Heritage monuments, Lakes and Parks, Gardens and Resorts, and Museums to delectable cuisine and a delightful shopping experience.

To the traveler, Hyderabad offers a fascinating panorama of the past, with a richly mixed cultural and historical tradition. The Old City of Hyderabad is everything you might dream of in an Indian old city, narrow lanes thronged with markets, chai shops, wandering animals, auto rickshaws, a whirl of noise, color, languages, and religions dotted with stately old architecture. Another pole is far younger-its Hi-Tech City, or Cyberabad out west, which since the 1990s has propelled the city into the modern world with its accouterments of glittery malls, multiplexes, clubs, pubs, and sleek restaurants to sit alongside the traditional biryani joints and teahouses.

Also addressed as the Pearl City or the Biryani city, Hyderabad has plenty to offer you apart from just monuments.
