Jodhpur is the second largest city in the state of Rajasthan. It has been drawing the attention of tourists from all over the world. Located in Jodhpur, Mehrangarh Fort is one of the largest forts in the country. It is located at the top of a 410 feet elevated hill and guarded by walls. Seven gates have to be crossed before reaching the Fort. One of the palaces in the Fort, Moti Mahal, has the royal throne of Jodhpur. At present, the Fort has a museum where all the decorated suites and rooms of the palaces exhibit various paintings, furniture, and historic armory of royal origin. These birds can be seen in large numbers at this bird sanctuary between October and March as they migrate to India during this time to avoid the cold winters of Europe. Situated on a hillock in Osian, Sachiya Mata Temple is an ancient shrine with its origin dating back to the 8th century, dedicated to Sachiya Mata, daughter of the demon King Paloma and wife of Rain God Indra. A series of magnificently sculpted arches form the entrance of the temple complex. The main chamber enshrines an idol of the presiding deity, Sachiya Mata, along with images of other Hindu Deities. A sculpture of Varaha's incarnation of Lord Vishnu is located in the north complex, while statues of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi are present in the east.

As a tribute to the 24th Jain Tirthankara, Lord Mahavira, the temple was built by Pratihara King Vatsa in AD 775. The shrine is renowned for its exquisite carvings, which depict different stages of the life of Lord Neminath. Visitors can also see a 32-inch tall sculpture of Lord Mahavira, sitting in padmasana position, at the temple.

Bullet Baba temple confirms Rajasthan as the land of faith as well as the land of wonders too. Located in Chotila village of Pali district near Jodhpur, Bullet Baba temple is a temple plus memorial. Here a Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle is worshipped. According to locals, the story behind the temple is a young man Om Singh Rathore, son of a village leader, who had an accident in 1991 by collapsing his bullet motorcycle into a tree. Travelers stop here and bow their heads at Bullet Baba's feet. The tree where the accident occurred is now getting offerings of bangles, scarves, and rope.
