1: Kalpeni Island

Also known as Koefaini, Kalpeni islands are a group of three islands and are one of the most picturesque areas of Lakshadweep. Cheriyam, Pitti, and Tillakkam are the islands that together form the Kalpeni islands. Kalpeni is famous for its beautiful lagoon surrounding the island and is rich in Coral life. Naturally, this place is among the must-see places in Lakshadweep & is also a great spot to enjoy water sports like Scuba Diving, Snorkelling, Reef walking, canoeing, kayaking, and sailing yachts.

2: Bangaram Island

Amid this magical chain lies Bangaram Island. Bangaram Island is a turquoise-hued world of clear, warm seas, silver sands, and a stretching canopy of palms. Sparkling coral reefs glitter through the pellucid waters, home to myriad life forms. Whether diving, swimming, or just soaking in the sun, Bangaram can create the illusion of being the last person on the planet. Bangaram offers Scuba Diving, Snorkelling, & Deep Sea fishing.

3: Kavaratti Island

One of the prime tourist destinations, this island has beautiful white coral-sand beaches, calm and soothing lagoons, and immense greenery. Like all other islands in the vicinity, this also is a nature lover's paradise. The dancing coconut leaves, the smell of the salty ocean, and the sound of the waves are something tourists will never forget.

4: Agatti Island

The only island with an airstrip in Lakshadweep, Agatti is renowned for its water sports activities. Agatti has remarkable and breathtaking flora and fauna-attractive lagoons with coral froths, unique fishes & clean white sand beaches. It's a mesmerizing tourist spot that offers pleasant weather, picturesque palm trees, exotic coral reefs, and many gifts of nature. Here, tourists can enjoy the adventure of swimming, snorkeling, Deep Sea Fishing, sailing, glass bottom boat rides, water skiing, kayaking, and scuba diving.

5: Suheli And Pitti

Suheli is frequently visited by islanders from Kavaratti for excellent fishing in the lagoon and occasionally by people from Agatti and Amini for the same purpose. It is 47 km southwest of Kavaratti. It consists of a banyan reef, enclosing a lagoon in which lie two uninhabited islands Cheriyakara & Valiyakara. Pitti is known as the island of birds & lies 24 km northwest of Kavaratti. It is a small reef with a tiny sand bank at its southern end. This small uninhabited island with an area of 1.21 hectares is the breeding ground of thousands of birds belonging to the tern group.

6: Minicoy Island

Minicoy Island is one of the oldest lighthouses in Lakshadweep. Standing tall at 300 feet, the view from the top is mesmerizing. However, foreign nationals are not allowed to visit this island. Minicoy Island is a popular tourist spot, bounded by a land of natural beauty with fresh spread-out water & also well known for its second name, Maliku. Minicoy is famous for tuna canning, fishing, & colorful boats.

How To Reach Lakshadweep

Air: - Agatti Aerodrome on Agatti Island is the only airport in Lakshadweep. Air India Regional, a subsidiary of the state-owned carrier, serves Agatti and flies to Kochi on the mainland.

Other: - Lakshadweep is group of islands and to travel from one to another one can either use the ferry system or hire a Pawan Hans helicopter services. Several ships are also available from Kochi.
