Prayagrag, the city of Uttar Pradesh, is situated at the confluence of three holy rivers, Ganga, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati, & also known as Sangam Nagri, which holds Religious Importance among Hindus. 1: Anand Bhawan
ANAND BHAWAN
Swaraj Bhavan (formerly Anand Bhawan) is a large mansion in Allahabad. Anand Bhawan is a well-maintained building of the Nehru family, having lots of historical mention in India's struggle for Independence. Several belongings related to Mahatma Gandhi and Nehru Ji are in the museum & the planetarium is the key attraction for kids.

TRIVENI SANGAM
Triveni Sangam is the confluence of the three Rivers, the clear demarcation is visible where the river Yamuna merges with the river Ganga & the two different colors of the water are visible. One is muddy brown color water Ganga and on the other side is the dark green water Yamuna and the Holy Invisible Saraswati. The most serene evening Ganga Aarti has a devotional atmosphere & Bhakti songs all make up the mood with purity in mind and soul. Best visit during the month of Jan to April when the water is the cleanest, Maagh Mela held every year in Jan-Feb.  
 
3: Bade Hanuman Ji Temple
BADE HANUMAN JI TEMPLE
Located at the foothills of the Akbar Fort near the river bank, the huge Hanuman statue (about 20 feet) is reclining and about 10 feet below ground level. According to legend, during the rainy season, this area is submerged under water & river water tries to enter the temple to touch the feet of God. The Sleeping God Hanuman at Allahabad is one of its kind. This idol is mesmerizing.

Khusro Bagh, located close to Allahabad Railway Station, is one of the popular tourist destinations in Allahabad. The park holds historical significance as it houses the tomb of Prince Khusro, one of the sons of Emperor Jahangir. The three sandstone mausoleums within this walled garden present an exquisite example of Mughal architecture. The design of its main entrance, the surrounding gardens, and the three-tier tomb. Khusro Bagh is a large walled garden and burial complex located in Muhalla Khuldabad.

This museum has a collection of Terracottas from important archaeological sites. It is about 3 km from Allahabad Railway Junction & almost equidistant from Prayag and Rambagh Railway Station & about 12 km from Bamrauli Airport. The museum is in the historic Chandrashekhar Azad Park (Company Bagh), where freedom fighter Chandra Shekhar Azad sacrificed his life.

CHANDRASHEKHAR AZAD PARK
This park is in the memory of Chandra Shekhar Azad, who fought the revolutionary fight for freedom struggle from here. Park is maintained and the perfect place for families and children to picnics and play. The park has a small pond, a jogging trek, and a play area. The main attraction of this park is Shaheed Chandrashekhar Place & a museum. It’s also called Alfred Park or Company Gardens or Company Bagh, depending on which entrance we take into the park, as it has entry from four different sides, since the park is so vast, in the mid of the city. 
 
9: Allahabad Fort
ALLAHABAD FORT
The Allahabad Fort is the largest Fort built by Akbar. In its prime, the Fort was unrivaled for its design, construction, and craftsmanship. This Fort has three galleries flanked by high towers & stands on the banks of the Yamuna near its confluence with the river Ganges. To date, the Indian Army occupies this Fort & which is popularly known as the Ordnance Depot fort Allahabad. Therefore, there is limited access to the inner quarters of the Fort.

Akshayavat "the indestructible banyan tree" a sacred tree located within the Patalpuri Temple at the Allahabad Fort, according to legend, once the sage Markandeya asked God Narayana to show him a specimen of the divine power then God Narayana flooded the entire world for a moment, during which only the Akshayavat could be seen above the water level from then it is worshipped as the religious tree by devotees.

Alopi Devi temple is a small but very popular in Praygraj & one will not find any idol of the Goddess but only the cradle. The temple near Sangam, or confluence, is where the rivers Ganges, Yamuna, and the legendary Saraswati meet. All devotees touch the cradle and feel blessed. While doing the Parikrama, Shiv temple, Hanumanji Idol, and Nav Durga Idol are on temple premises. It is the 18th and holiest of all the Shakti Peeth of India. Shankar Viman Mandapam is the only temple in the city built in South Indian style, located on the banks of the Triveni Sangam. It is a modern temple, four stories high and reflecting the Dravidian style of Architecture. It has a height of about 131 feet & The Temple stands on 16 strong pillars. On each floor of the temple, you can see the shrines of different Gods and Goddesses & on the walls of the temple are beautiful paintings depicting scenes from the epic Ramayana.

Lalita Devi is one of the famous temples in Prayag and the Shakti Peeth. Lalita Devi Temple is near the Jamuna River at Meerapur Allahabad. The approach to this temple is challenging because of the narrow streets. Better reach this place by taxi or auto not by personnel vehicle. Here three forms of Shakti, Lakshmi, Saraswathi, and Parvathy, are present on the same Shakti Peetha and collectively known as Lalita Devi.

The Ashoka pillar is an Ashoka Stambha, one of the pillars of Ashoka, an emperor of the Maurya dynasty who reigned in the 3rd century BCE. This pillar has inscriptions from Ashoka & later inscriptions to Samudragupta and Jahangir were also attributed to this pillar, constructed by Akbar at the confluence of the River Ganges and Yamuna, this pillar is one of the most important attractions of the city. The Ashoka Pillar is a superb structure of the Mauryan Period and is inside the Allahabad fort.

The Narayan Ashram is in Govindpur, near Teliarganj in Prayagraj, founded by Sri. Narayan Mahaprabhu, who was also the spiritual head of the Ashram.
